On nous a dit qu'il y a 15 ans Shenzhen était juste un champ. Ce que nous voyons maintenant c'est une grande ville moderne avec une population de 8 millions. Cette ville a été choisie pour expérimenter l'économie capitaliste au sein de l'État communiste.
We were told that 15 years ago Shenzhen was just a field. What we saw now was a big modern city with a population of 8 million. This city was chosen to initiate experimentation of a capitalist economy within the communist state.

Le nouveau Shenzhen Poly Theatre est resplendissant d’un certain angle, il ressemble à un gros vaisseau spatial.

Notre merveilleux violoniste Li Zhe , un tout nouveau citoyen canadien provenant de la chine,à travaillé énormément sur notre tournée. Un vrai "Figaro si ,Fgaro la" , il nous aide pour la traduction, nous donnes des conseils sur plusieurs sujets, est le lien entre l'orchestre et les diffuseurs en plus d'être un excellent négociateur, diététiste, historien, tour guide.. tout ça avec énormément de diplomatie.
Our wonderful violinist Li Zhe , a brand new Canadian citizen, originally from China , has been doing tons of work on this tour. A real “Figaro here , Figaro there !” he’s been helping as a translator, negotiator , adviser on all subjects , diplomat, dietitian , tour guide , historian and a link between the orchestra and the presenter .

Une heure entre la répétition et le concert nous a donné assez du temps pour: une sieste profonde et reposante, un dîner somptueux et une aventureuse visite touristique autour du coin.
One hour between rehearsal and concert gave us time enough for a deep, restful nap, a sumptuous dinner and adventurous sightseeing around the corner.
